some nifty tricks to get into the city:

dave&#39;s blue line idea is a gas&#33; the blue and red lines run 24 hours a day, non stop&#33; you can get to the des plaines blue line by getting off 290 at des plaines avenue [just before cumberland / 1st avenue&#33;] and making a left

if you&#39;d rather drive, get off 290 wherever it starts to get |ishy| [usually by pulling into the mannheim road exit prematurely and gauging it from there] and exit going south to roosevelt from wherever. make a left / east on roosevelt til at least harlem avenue, but austin works, too [cause that&#39;s where the expwy widens&#33;]. its a gas&#33; to get to the bottom lounge with relative ease, try taking western avenue up the whole way...it&#39;s a wider road, with less congestion than damen, ashland, and even the lake shore drive&#33; turn right at belmont and look for parking immediately, you can hoof it from wherever, kiddos&#33;

yeah, james is right. 290 gets |ishy| as hell around mannheim which is conveniently where i live by. just take Roosevelt to austin and hop back on cuz it clears up there usually or just go straight to whatever north-south street you want. for most of you kids in downers or wherever that is south, you&#39;d wanna take 290 to Des Plaines Rd and get off at get on the blue line there, instead of takin 90 to cumberland which is up by ohare and will take you at least 45 min to get downtown, whereas des plaines blue line (the opposite end) takes like 25 min to get downtown.

PS. the des plaines blue line parking lot double their price to 3 bucks. meaning a total trip would be almost 7 bucks for one person. i decided to boycott that parking lot a few months ago because of it.

i dont understand how bibo can be considered boring, also how you can leave before the killer plays, especially at their release show. for shame. the two best hardcore bands in the midwest. although i hate when people get jumped on for not liking bands.... but seriously.

I just went home and listened to some records on 33 instead of 45, same difference. Except I got to watch porn while doing it instead of a bunch of people standing there.

I don&#39;t know, slow hardcore has just really bothered/bored me lately. It saps me instead of energizes me. Makes me methodical. I don&#39;t like it. Especially when I&#39;m only a little drunk as opposed to thrashed.
