Brighton Park Press and Sonotheque Present “1st Press”
Rising T-Shirt Company and Established Club Partner for Chicago Charity Event

Brighton Park Press T-Shirt Company and Sonotheque are joining forces to help support the missions of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the Chicago Abused Women’s Coalition (CAWC). The relationship among the organizations will seek to raise awareness about the prevention and cure of diabetes and will advocate the need to end domestic violence through empowerment and self-help. “1st Press,” the partnership’s first charity event, will be held on Wednesday, June 22 from 9pm to 12am and the proceeds from the $10 cover will be divided evenly between the ADA and the CAWC.

Newcomer Brighton Park Press (creators/producers of shirts for Avec, Mod, Sonotheque, Milk & Honey, and Gold Star) is releasing its first retail line at the event. Included in the line, and available for purchase, will be T-Shirts designed specifically for the ADA and the CAWC. Net proceeds from the T-Shirts will also be divided between the two charities. The evening’s highlights will also feature DJ James C* and Roman Red spinning and a fashion show.

“We intend to produce two shirts each season for charities with all proceeds going to help their respective funds. For our first season we selected charities that we had a personal connection with- domestic violence and diabetes were two†causes that hit very close to home,” said David Wojtonik, Brighton Park Press co-founder. “Through our work, we are not only hoping to make a great shirt, but we want to raise awareness about these very important causes.”

Ohhh wait, the roommates. Gotcha. Very clever.

                              Bump! I'm in TimeOut Chicago!

As a word, there's not much a difference between "electro" and "electronica" but the images they conjur up are entirely different. Don't worry, I won't be playing any Crystal Method.
