fork knife spoon are |f*cking| awesome. that one |f*cking| riff is the greatest riff in the history of riffs. that band gets more incredible everytime i see them.

the fate of the world hangs in the balance were better than the last time i saw them. i enjoyed it quite a bit.

i liked rise of marakara. they&#39;re totally a decade too late for that sound, which was a big part of the appeal to me. i still really like that sound a lot.

pheonix bodies were much better than i thought they&#39;d be. not really my thing, but they had some awesome parts and they were fun to watch live.

i missed dakota dakota on account of combination of my not wanting to leave my wife at home all night because she wasn&#39;t feeling well and my desire to eat dinner. dinner was awesome though.

as far as the show:

i really like phoenix bodies. i thought they were really fun to watch, super energetic and awesome breakdowns.

fks - this is only my second time ever seeing them, and they were a lot better than i remember. i was a fan last time, but even more so now.

dakota/dakota - first time seeing these guys. reminded me a lot of dianogah (well, some of the drumming at least...) and i thought they were awesome.

overall, a super fun show...i was kind of worried about how the turnout would be, because there were a lot of shows going on last night. however, i think there were a good amount of people.

awesome.
