i agree about the fuck buttons album, i haven't heard anything by caribou (manitoba) except "up in flames" but i'd really like to see it live. if you know anybody with extra tix, holler at me.

I saw Caribou twice, once after Up In Flames (he was still Manitoba at the time of the show, I think?) and again after the next one.

The second show was more boring than the first. The further he got into making organic pop, the less awesome the stage show got. That first time was a fucking orgasm, dude. It was just noise and rock and a billion drums. The second time he was singing and it was quiter and I wasn't feeling it half as much (though it was still good).

Go if you can score tickets, but don't feel super bummed if you can't make it - I can't imagine the tour off this new album being all that exciting, to be honest.
