After posting about the recent Powerhouse free show and then failing to attend, I will still say that these guys are fucking amazing.

That Jeff Parker guy -- he plays around town a ton in various jazz/improv groups and sometimes he's just kinda meh, but damn he sounds phenomenal with this group.

The first time I saw them it was "the closest I'll ever get to seeing Isotope 217," which was cool until I saw Isotope 217 a few months later.
