Long Distance Runner are friends of mine. I really like their band, and not in a they're-my-friends-so-I-support-them way. They write such cool guitar parts.

And emily, in addition to being an ok gal, is quite the cutie.

it hosts local chicagoland bands.. basically putting together and promoting shows in the area. also promotes local artists (mainly bands on 2N) and distributes demos of local talents and music. free webspace provided as well.

it just started a month ago, so there's more to come.
