The name of the man who books shows there is named Michael Zerang, he's a really cool dude. There are pretty much only ever shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Most of the shows are free-jazz or improvized music, some electronic stuff every once in awhile. there is an email list that goes out about once a month; you can send a request to candlestick4432@aol.com. The site, candlestickmaker.org, hasn't been updated in about four months, but it does have pretty good bios up of just about everyone that has ever performed there. I don't know if Michael just doesn't have the time to keep up with the page, or what. The place itself is pretty tiny. You couldn't fit more than 50 people in there at max. But for such a tiny almost awkward space it sounds pretty awesome in there.
