There's no reason this show should cost more than Boris/SunnO))) did.

no, there is... stupid ****ing indie bands need a lot of money for pants and haircuts whereas Sunn0))) only needed money for plane fare, drugs and a guided tour of Chicago's esoteric and occult sites. Pants and haircuts and the general ineffeciency of the bull**** promoter/booking agent/tour manager/publicist/printer/merch girl/website guy structure of indie rock are vastly more expensive than flying a band and a few tons of amplifiers across the ocean. DIY is ****ing dead.

Being drunk and extremely bitter at 2:21pm on a Sunday is no way to live.

The reason this is so expensive is because Logan Square costs 1,000 bones per night to rent it out. A lot of people better show up to this show or bands might not leave with their equipment...
