the civic center is on 135 W. CHURCH st. if i remember correctly. 411 says 118 E. COOK, but that is incorrect.

you just take 94 west for a long time and get off at rockland road. there should be a sign that says 'to libertyville'.

here is more info on the show.

some bands that were tba, i took off the flyer, they'll be back on as soon as they confirm!

        SEE YOU ALL THERE.

ok and libertyville, for all you city folk.

from union station, take the milwaukee north line? north - obviously to libertyville, get off at libertyville, and its about a 3 minute walk. you go out the entrance/exit of the parking lot, keep walking straight, and then left on church but the civic center is on the corner so you really just have to cross the street. the show is in the back/basement. it is going to rule. darla and i are awesome.

Since Tyler has no idea what he is doing. Listen up kids:

                  SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH 2004
We're not sure where this is, apparently the Libertyville Civic Center let someone else book it up, so we're looking for someplace out. If you can help us out, that would be awesome.
If we can't get a place, it will probably be a held at a house in Chicago.
                  4PM
                  $6-$7

                  THE KODAN ARMADA
                  VAN JOHNSON
                  HIGH ON CRIME
                  RISE OF MARAKARA
                  THE CONDUCTOR
                  THE SEA, THE SEA
                  NATHAN CROWLEY

I think there are 2 or 3 more, but I'm retarded and can't remember. If you're playing, speak up so we get this right!

since my band has played the libertyville civic center 50 times, i'll let you all know some things:
                      • the show needs to end by 11:30, and everything out by midnight
                      • the show needs to start on time
                      • it's hard to fit 6 bands into one night unless it's short sets & everything starts on time
                      • shows have always been $5
                      • bands don't always get paid what they expect if there is not a good turn out

                      located:
                      • 135 W Church St
                      • parking lot in the back & on the side of the building
                      • the basement's entrance is in the back

                      directions by train:
                      • take the "Milwaukee District North Line"
                      • you can pick it up out of Union Station, Western Ave., 4014 W. Fullerton Ave., 3729 N. Kilbourn St., 4357 N. Cicero, etc. (http://metrarail.com/Sched/md_n/md_n.html)
                      • train ride should be $5 b/c it's a saturday
                      • once off the train & out of the parking lot, keep walking straight for 4 blocks
                      • building will be on yr left-hand side

                      directions from I-94:
                      • take the Rt. 176 exit
                      • there'll be a sign of which direction Libertyville is (pay attention for this!)
                      • then take a right on Milwaukee Ave. (off of 176)
                      • take a left on Church St.
                      • building will be the last building on yr left-hand side (@ the end of the street, on the corner)

                      other info:
                      • if you have to smoke, do it outside
                      • have fun
                      • be safe

if anyone has any more questions or concerns, let me know.
